Texting is quick yet impersonal

I don't really do "small chat." & when I want to have a conversation that might take more than 5 texts on the phone that means it requires a voice call. In case you are too busy texting or scrolling around Facebook and forgot what that means, it means when two people talk on the phone, using your mobile phone and can mean your computer ie: Skype and Gchat.

So, when I call someone it is for a reason to talk and not to text a conversation. I understand everyone is busy but finding 5 mins to "hear someone else's voice" shouldn't be that complicated. Neither should be setting up a date and time to hang out. Stop being a flake. You are only making yourself look sad. If you really want to remain in contact... YOU will make time. You have plenty of time to ask for favors!

Yes, texting is quick! Very convenient, not tied to emotions or tones. It is impersonal. Everyone does it!
Phone calls are more effective. What could be an all day dragged out convo on text could be 5 mins or less on the phone. Simply because people took 30 mins or hours to reply back and forth. Losing meaning. Don't get me wrong I text but I don't want to text all day long about nothing or chase text convos. There are pros and cons for both.

LA gets weirder by the year and I am a native. Really last 5 years been going down the toilet. Must be the recession, right? ;)

Anyways bottom line. Don't expect favors if you are absent from when your friends need you the most and vice versa.

Doors can close.

Emma Stone: Do & Don't Hairstyles

Do:

Red, Classy waves. Perfectly pretty.

Retro cascading waves. Sophisticated beauty.

Don't:

She looks like she is ready for Saturday morning errands with this hair. No, No, and No. DIY waves and a clip back are not cute. :)
